Job summary

Generali is seeking a Senior CISO to lead the cyber security program across the organization. You will shape and implement strategic security measures, assess risks and coordinate with IT, Risk and Compliance to safeguard the business.

You will guide incident response, vulnerability management and security reporting to senior leadership. You will leverage certifications and experience in financial services, communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders, and enable secure growth

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or a comparable field.
• Several years of relevant experience in cyber security in international settings.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security risks, threats, controls and technologies.
• Experience in incident and vulnerability management, cloud and app security, risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, translating security topics for all levels.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or ISO 27001 are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to definition and implementation of the cyber security strategy.
• Identify and assess cyber risks; define mitigation with IT, Risk and Compliance.
• Ensure security across applications, infrastructure, endpoints and cloud environments.
• Support secure software development, cloud security and third‑party security.
• Coordinate management of security incidents and cyber threats; assist incident response.
• Prepare security reports and recommendations for senior management.
