Zusammenfassung

InvestCloud is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate business requirements into technical solutions within our SKYC JV delivery for Private Banking clients across Switzerland and Europe.

The role emphasizes Agile, SCRUM, Product Ownership, and Demand Management, delivering platform changes, data analysis, and process improvements while supporting the wider InvestCloud product lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 7-10 years as Business Analyst in Fintech, consulting, or related industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Expert with Excel and Data Analysis, including modeling, lookups and macro writing
• Knowledge of investment management, portfolio accounting, financial market data and performance calculations
• Brilliant communication and client presentation skills
• German or French language proficiency is a plus

Aufgaben

• Conduct analysis of clients' project objectives and define optimum solution.
• Conduct data analysis based on source data systems and target staging tables, drive design with Integration developers.
• Deliver agreed-upon products within committed timeframes, while managing scope and change rigorously.
• Identifies process improvements and provides options and technical solutions for future process design/changes that increase corporate efficiencies while considering impact and integrity of the project
• Drive Quality Control through unit testing and deliverable pre-hand-off testing
• Develop detailed documentation to train client users on the purchased products and ensure efficient handoff to Production Support upon go-live.
• Collaborating with external or group wide specialists to facilitate ideas, requirement gathering, design and delivery of initiatives.
• Manage Java, Data Modeling and Mapping
• Responsible for understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and SaaS delivery.
• Technically savvy, with the ability to perform light configuration.
• Serves as a subject matter expert / thought leader on products and client functionality, partnering with strategic client teams on complex issues.

InvestCloud is looking for an intelligent, practical individual with experience in delivering financial technology. This role affords the ability to make an impact internally, and on InvestCloud’s largest client relationships. The ideal candidate will have very strong analytical and organizational skills, a strong sense of ownership, a demonstrated history of positive results in delivering financial technology, a genuine willingness to learn, and the capability to quickly master new skills. This role currently supports InvestCloud’s SmartKYC (SKYC) joint-venture delivery, serving Private Banking and Wealth Management clients across Switzerland and greater Europe.

What does a great Business Analyst do?

The Sr. Business Analyst is sharply focused on identifying, documenting, and recommending solutions to business requirements of new and existing Platforms from a technology, process, and workflow perspective. The Sr. Business Analyst will successfully demonstrate Agile and SCRUM competencies with a focus on Product Ownership and Demand Management. The senior business systems analyst Provides technical direction and support to project team members during development and testing of functional specification.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

• Conduct analysis of clients' project objectives and define optimum solution.
• Conduct data analysis based on source data systems and target staging tables, drive design with Integration developers.
• Deliver agreed-upon products within committed timeframes, while managing scope and change rigorously.
• Identifies process improvements and provides options and technical solutions for future process design/changes that increase corporate efficiencies while considering impact and integrity of the project
• Drive Quality Control through unit testing and deliverable pre-hand-off testing
• Develop detailed documentation to train client users on the purchased products and ensure efficient handoff to Production Support upon go-live.
• Define project tasks from project objectives.
• Enforces efficiencies, eliminates rework and workarounds.
• Contributes to roadmap execution, including taking a lead role in multi-track project plans, communicating updates to stakeholders, management, and providing weekly reports.
• Successfully identifies opportunities to enhance existing IT processes and collaborate with process owners to introduce efficiencies.
• Collaborating with external or group wide specialists to facilitate ideas, requirement gathering, design and delivery of initiatives.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Minimum of 7-10 years as Business Analyst in Fintech, consulting, or related industry
• Work experience in-house or as a service provider to investment managers preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Expert with Excel and Data Analysis, including modeling, lookups and macro writing
• Knowledge of investment management, portfolio accounting, financial market data and performance calculations
• Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
• Possess business savvy but a techie at heart.
• Brilliant communication and client presentation skills
• Experience as a Data or Research Analyst
• Technical software spec writing and documentation
• Superior time management and negotiation skills
• Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Proven track record of strong scope and change control
• Private Banking / Wealth Management knowledge with a focus on Front Office Transformation, Compliance, and CRM / CLM / Onboarding
• German or French language proficiency is a plus
