Alstom is seeking a Brake System Engineer - Service Engineering in Switzerland. You will define and execute validation and test strategies for braking systems, and support on-site commissioning across modernization and service projects.
You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. Strong experience in brake systems and DFQ processes, plus English fluency (French/German a plus), will help you thrive in an international environment with opportunities
Qualifikationen
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Engineering.
- Proven experience in brake systems engineering.
- Fluency in English; French and/or German is a plus.
Aufgaben
- Define and execute validation and test strategies (lab, static, dynamic).
- Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Lead DFQ lifecycle activities for braking systems (requirements capture, architecture, design, verification, validation).
- Contribute to bid/tender phases by defining braking system solutions and performing technical assessments.
- Develop and validate brake system concepts and architectures with compliance to railway and Alstom standards.
