Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Visp, Switzerland invites applications for a Senior Bioprocess Engineer (m/f/d) 80%-100%. You will lead GMP manufacturing campaigns, drive process improvements, and mentor teams in a collaborative biotech environment.

This is a fully site-based role at Visp with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates and families. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT, Engineering, and Quality to ensure compliant, high-quality production and continuous technical

Qualifications

Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech GMP manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of USP/DSP processes and GMP documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for GMP manufacturing campaigns across upstream and downstream bioprocessing.
Support batch execution through data analysis, troubleshooting and process monitoring.
Lead risk assessments and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
Maintain GMP documentation and ensure inspection readiness.
Identify and implement process/equipment/workflow improvements with stakeholders.
Deliver product-specific training and develop employees' technical skills.
