Job summary

Jet Aviation Basel is seeking a senior Bid Manager to lead government programs bids in a dynamic aviation environment. You will drive tenders from opportunity to execution and align cross-functional teams across Sales, Capture Management, and other departments.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and robust project management skills, with a focus on delivering winning strategies and executive-ready materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Aviation Management.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defence with government or military programs.
• 5-10 years in project or bid management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Fluency in English; French and/or German are an advantage.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead tenders and bid initiatives from opportunity to execution.
• Develop winning bid strategies with Capture Management, Sales and other departments.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Manage bid timelines, budgets, quotations, reporting, and documentation.
• Support risk assessments, financial modelling, scenario analysis, and deal approvals.
• Lead customer and partner discussions and negotiations.
