Alpian Bank is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale the core of its digital banking platform in a cloud-native environment. You’ll design, develop, and own backend services powering wealth management and everyday banking for thousands of clients.

Bring 8+ years of backend engineering, strong Java skills, and experience with REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD. Join a hybrid team in Geneva/Lausanne and help set long-term engineering direction.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Java proficiency.
• Experience building REST/HTTP APIs in cloud-native setups.
• Familiarity with event streaming and pub/sub architectures.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and microservices environment.
• A product mindset and a bias for action.
• Excellent English communication skills.

• Writing clean, testable, scalable code (we love quality).
• Contributing to system architecture and design decisions.
• Collaborating with mobile, frontend, product, and banking operation stakeholders.
• Owning features end-to-end — from design to deployment and support with focus on reliability and security.
• Lead and mentor a lean team of engineers, setting high standards for engineering quality and craft.
• Taking ownership of key components and driving the team in a long-term vision.
