Job summary

Encore at the Fairmont Montreux site is seeking a Technical Supervisor to oversee AV and media technology for high‑quality events. You will act as the direct point of contact, coordinate technical planning, supervision and on‑site execution while collaborating with regional management and sales teams.

You will manage quotations, service providers, materials and logistics, aim for turnover targets, and lead staff scheduling.

Qualifications

• Trained as an events technician, events manager or a degree in the events sector.
• Several years’ professional experience in the events industry, specialising in AV and media technology.
• Sales-oriented mindset.
• Strong customer service ethos and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Some experience in team leadership.
• Flexibility regarding working hours.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent English and French.
• German would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Easyjob would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Direct point of contact for all AV and media technology matters
• Responsible for the technical planning, supervision and execution of high-quality events
• Preparing quotations and managing service providers, as well as planning materials and logistics
• Planning and achieving turnover targets for your division
• Staff scheduling in consultation with regional management
• Working closely with regional management and sales managers
• Ensuring quality standards are met
