Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer based in Switzerland to build and scale a dedicated security function. You will lead secure software practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation across APIs, SDKs, and cloud systems, while integrating AI-powered tools into testing and automation.

As a senior contributor, you will influence engineering practices, own security tooling in CI/CD, and mentor teams through secure coding and incident response activities.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in software or security engineering with 5+ years in application security.
• Experience building or improving secure programs within product teams and hands-on implementation.
• Proficient in writing production-grade code in TS/JS/Go/Python or similar.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API security, and cloud/identity controls.

Responsibilities

• Design secure SDLC, threat modeling, secure code reviews, and pre-release testing.
• Own security tooling in CI/CD, reduce false positives, define SLAs.
• Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews for APIs, SDKs, dashboards, data pipelines.
• Develop AI-first security tooling, vulnerability triage, and automated remediation.
