Job summary

Artefact, a Swiss data and AI consulting firm, seeks a Senior Technical Consultant / Senior AI Engineer in Lausanne/Geneva. You will design and deliver impactful AI and data solutions, guiding cross-functional teams from opportunity framing to production deployment.

You will own architectures, lead PoCs, implement ML models with Python and ML tooling, and work across Azure/GCP/AWS. Fluency in French and English and work eligibility in Switzerland are required.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in data/ML/AI engineering with production experience.
• Expert Python; strong software engineering practices.
• Fluency in French & English; strong communication.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end data/ML architectures and guide PoC to production.
• Lead PoCs and pilots; build scalable AI products.
• Develop ML models with Python; prompt engineering and tuning.
• Design and operate cloud services with CI/CD and monitoring.
• Translate business goals into technical roadmaps for stakeholders.
• Enforce governance and security best practices.
• Mentor engineers; contribute to reusable accelerators.
• Support pre-sales and thought leadership assets.
