Job summary

Artifact is seeking an AI Engineer/Consultant based in Switzerland to design, implement, and deploy pragmatic AI solutions for Swiss clients across German- and French-speaking regions. You will contribute across the project life cycle, from proposals to deployment, while shaping internal assets and strategy.

Ideal candidates have GenAI and Data Science experience, strong Python, ML, and cloud skills (Azure/AWS/GCP), and excellent English plus German or French communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in GenAI and Data Science with ML concepts incl. DL, NLP, CV
• Fluency in Python, plus Git, SQL, DevOps and MLOps
• Familiarity with analytics libraries and Big Data tools (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark)
• Experience designing and scaling GenAI in production on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) with Docker, APIs, backend/frontend development, and microservices
• Excellent written and oral communication (English and German or French)
• Willingness to travel in Switzerland and work permit in Switzerland

For our powerful team, we are looking for a Swiss based AI Engineer / Consultant to develop and deliver innovative AI solutions for our customers in the German- and French-speaking regions of Switzerland.

Your mission

• Design, implement, and deploy pragmatic AI solutions using state-of-the-art technologies, tailored to client needs and habits, to solve pressing business problems
• Leverage AI solutions and client data to drive real-world impact and address critical business challenges
• Work in high-performing, agile teams and play an active role throughout the project life cycle - from contributing to project proposals to designing and deploying solutions, as well as supporting business development activities
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across clients, partners and internal teams
• Contribute to Artifact’s growth by developing assets and driving initiatives that support the company’s success

Your profile

• Experience in (Gen)AI and Data Science work with a deep understanding of Machine Learning concepts, including Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision
• Fluency in Python, along with experience in Git, SQL, DevOps and MLOps
• Familiarity with analytics libraries, visualization tools and Big Data frameworks, e.g. NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark
• First experience in designing and scaling (Gen)AI solutions in production on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP), with exposure to Docker, APIs, backend/frontend development, and microservices architectures
• Excellent written and oral communication (English and German or French is a must)
• Enjoying communication and building relationships with clients and teams is a plus
• Willingness to travel in Switzerland and available work permit in Switzerland

• You intend to start your new job at Artifact within the next 3 months from your point of application

Additional preferred qualification:

• Experience in consulting
• Experience in frontend engineering e.g. React
• Experience as a full stack engineer is a plus
