Qualifikationen

• Pursuing an M.Sc. degree in material science, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry or similar discipline; official enrollment essential.
• Experience in laboratory work and know-how in experimental methods using advanced materials characterization techniques.
• Solid programming skills (e.g. LabVIEW, Python, Matlab).
• Experience with finite element modeling advantageous (ANSYS Q3D, COMSOL).
• Fluency in English; good communication and technical writing skills.

Aufgaben

• Support technology development and research activities in semiconductor power modules (process development and prototype manufacturing in a cleanroom).
• Perform accelerated lifetime testing and characterize modules before and after aging; supervise test setups.
• Conduct root cause analyses (X-ray, SAM, cross section) and document results.
• Run electromagnetic and thermal simulations to validate design features.
• Create CAD designs of power modules in collaboration with the team; propose creative, efficient solutions.
