Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Equipment Engineer to optimize and maintain manufacturing equipment for high performance and reliability. You will support diffusion and cleaning equipment, focusing on preventive maintenance and process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least two years in semiconductor equipment engineering. Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and fluent English are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the Semiconductor field is a must.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement modifications and upgrades to existing manufacturing equipment to improve efficiency, yield, and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex manufacturing machinery and systems.
• Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends, predict failures, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality teams to resolve equipment‑related issues and optimize processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and technical specifications.
• Train technicians and operators on new equipment and updated procedures.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of required components and ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Support the selection, installation, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
