Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Switzerland is seeking an Equipment Engineer to optimize and maintain manufacturing equipment for high performance, reliability, and efficiency. You will drive diffusion maintenance, supporting corrective and preventive actions on diffusion & cleaning systems.

You will collaborate with production, R&D and quality teams, analyze performance data, implement improvements, train technicians, and manage spare parts while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in equipment engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the semiconductor field is required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement modifications and upgrades to existing manufacturing equipment to improve efficiency, yield, and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex manufacturing machinery and systems.
• Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends, predict failures and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with production, R&D and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues and optimize processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and technical specifications.
• Train technicians and operators on new equipment and updated procedures.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of required components and ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
