Job summary

Union Bancaire Privée seeks a Securities Transfers Officer for a 4-month mission in Geneva. You will ensure asset delivery/receipt for transfers between financial establishments, with exposure to mutual funds, Private Equities, and Hedge Funds.

The role involves cross-checking custodian docs and contract notes, reconciling holdings, and managing transfer instructions with Wealth Management and external parties. Fluent French and English are required, with a Master’s degree and Swiss residence.

Responsibilities

• Crossed analysis of the received information: custodian's swifts, agent prospectus, contract notes and financial providers such as Bloomberg and Telekurs.
• Perform control of reconciliation of holdings, entitlements determination, pending positions management.
• Manage and control securities transfer instructions from Wealth Management and external parties (transfer IN/OUT/Internal and funds registration).
• Control transmission of deposits to correspondents/Transfer Agents/Administrators and ensure safe delivery and acceptance.
• Follow up topics and issues through the lifecycle of securities transfer activities.
• Understand risks in the Corporate Actions environment related to ongoing transfers and maintain discipline around control and escalation.
• Ensure daily follow up on pending issues and take appropriate resolution actions.

SECURITIES TRANSFERS OFFICER - 4 MONTHS MISSION

• Mission:


• Ensure the clients' assets delivery/receipt for all the activities associated with the transfer of securities to a different financial establishment or within the Bank.


• This includes all type of assets with expertise primarily required in alternative assets such as mutual funds, Private Equities and Hedge Funds


• Effective date : ASAP.


• Main responsibilities:


• Crossed analysis of the received information: custodian's swifts, agent prospectus, contract notes and financial providers such as: Bloomberg, Telekurs.


• Perform control of reconciliation of holdings, entitlements determination, pending positions management.


• Be able to manage and control securities transfer instructions received from Wealth Management and external parties (transfer IN/OUT/Internal and funds registration process).


• Control transmission of the deposits to our correspondents/Transfer Agents/Administrators and control of their safe delivery and acceptance.


• Follow-up of the topics and issues over the lifecycle of the securities transfer activities.


• Good understanding of the risks inherent in the Corporate Actions environment related to ongoing securities transfers and demonstrate good discipline around control and escalation.


• Ensure daily follow up in respect of pending issues and take appropriate measures for resolution.
