Job summary

Experis Switzerland is seeking a hands-on PhD-level skin biologist with strong experimental skills to join our Beauty & Care team. You will translate biology into product-relevant insights, contribute to dossiers, and support in vivo/clinical study preparation while collaborating across R&D, Marketing, Regulatory and Product Development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related field, preferably with a foundation in skin biology and interest/experience in cosmetic/dermatological science. Initial industry or postdoctoral experience is preferred, particularly around skin actives, vitamins, ageing or longevity biology.

Responsibilities

• Connect biological mechanisms with product-relevant outcomes and develop robust scientific data packages supporting cosmetic claims, including contribution to in‑vivo/clinical studies and preparation of dossiers and technical reports.
• Collaborate across R&D, Marketing, Regulatory and Product Development to translate science into meaningful applications.
• Be a hands‑on team player with agile, proactive mindset and strong communication skills.

Job description

• Scientific background: PhD in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related field, preferably with a foundation in skin biology and interest/experience in cosmetic/dermatological science. Initial industry or postdoctoral experience is preferred, particularly around skin actives, vitamins, ageing or longevity biology.
• Strong experimental capabilities: Hands‑on scientist able to independently design, execute and analyze in‑vitro and/or ex‑vivo studies, with strong attention to scientific rigor, reproducibility and data quality
• Translational science & claim substantiation: Ability to connect biological mechanisms with product‑relevant outcomes and develop robust scientific data packages supporting cosmetic claims, including contribution to in‑vivo/clinical studies and preparation of dossiers and technical reports.
• Business‑oriented & collaborative Teamplayer: Comfortable supporting global/regional business teams, answering technical questions and collaborating across R&D, Marketing, Regulatory and Product Development to translate science into meaningful applications.
• Mindset & growth potential: Looking for an agile, curious, proactive and highly motivated team player with strong communication skills.
