The client is currently implementing Salesforce, with go-live planned for mid-2027. The implementation is being delivered with external implementation partners and covers Industry Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, among other areas. The company is deliberately building its Salesforce expertise in-house. You'll be the central technical contact for the platform, working closely with the project lead and the key users and reviewing what the external partners deliver.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the stable operation and technical development of the Salesforce platform, including Industry Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud
- Administer and configure Salesforce: users, roles and permissions, flows and automation, and the data model
- Work with key users to analyse requirements, design solutions and deliver enhancements independently
- Write technical specifications, assess new requirements and coordinate with all stakeholders on projects, changes and support cases
- Technically review and sign off solutions built by external partners, making sure they meet quality and maintainability standards
- Work with the data analysts to keep master data clean and data quality high
- Maintain and monitor interfaces and environments, and keep the system documentation up to date
PROFILE:
- Several years of hands-on experience administering, configuring and developing Salesforce
- Experience with Industry Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud (at least 2 of the 3)
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce Flow, data modelling, and permission and security concepts
- Very good German and English, written and spoken
- Based in Switzerland or with concrete plans to relocate, as being on site matters (usually 3 days a week)
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with industry-specific Salesforce Clouds
- APIs and integration concepts (REST, SOAP), and interfaces between Salesforce and other systems
- Experience working with external implementation partners, and the ability to assess their solutions against Salesforce best practices
- Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator
- A degree or vocational training in computer science or business informatics, or equivalent professional experience
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
- A key role with real room to shape things: you'll support the rollout of the new CRM platform through go-live and then own its technical development
- An in-house role at an end-user company, working directly with the business teams and key users
- Hybrid working with 3 days on site, at a location that's easy to reach by train
- A competitive salary based on experience
