Zusammenfassung

TransPerfect Inc in Zürich is seeking a Sales Associate to develop new business relationships and be the first line of support for existing clients. You will understand our service capabilities and educate clients on our language and technology solutions.

Key requirements include a minimum bachelor’s degree, superb German and English communication, and experience in a high-tech environment. Travel to client meetings is expected as part of sales activities.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Strong written and spoken communication in German & English.
• Experience in a high tech environment.
• Familiarity with web technologies, desktop publishing software, databases and networks.
• Good analytical skills to project revenues and budgets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel to offsite client or sales meetings.

• Manage pricing and contractual issues per company procedures.
• Learn about each client’s industry and identify new business opportunities.

Job Description

The position of Sales Associate is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.

Description:

• Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of TransPerfect’s services

• Identify prospective customers and individual organisations to focus on sales activities

• Develop new client relationships via cold calling, the Internet, and trade shows

• In coordination with Sales Management, identify, quality, develop and close sales opportunities

• Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services

• Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team

• Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures

• Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service

• Perform other special projects or duties when required

Required Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

• Superior written and spoken communication skills in German & English

• Previous working experience in a high tech environment

• Familiarity and ability to communicate issues related to web technologies, desktop publishing software, database and network environments, etc.

• Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and other necessary calculations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Willingness to travel to offsite client or sales meetings
