RIVR, part of Amazon, is seeking a Technical Lead – Testing Engineer to own the testing strategy for advanced robotic systems. You will lead a team of test engineers, design test benches, write automation scripts, and drive data‑driven decisions that shape product validation.

This hands‑on leadership role combines strategy, mentorship, and technical execution in a fast‑moving hardware team with in‑person work at our Zürich offices.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a technical field and 7+ years hardware testing experience.
• Proven experience designing and commissioning test benches for electro‑mechanical systems.
• Strong Python scripting for test automation, data analysis, and device control.

Aufgaben

• Define and own end‑to‑end test strategy for structural, mechatronic, and sensing subsystems.
• Establish testing standards, processes, and reporting formats across the team.
• Design, commission, and operate test benches for mechatronics systems with actuators and sensors.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, LabVIEW) to control test hardware and run tests.
• Compile clear test reports and translate findings into design recommendations.
• Mentor and grow test engineers; collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems engineers.
• Coordinate with external test labs and suppliers when specialized testing is required.
