RIVR, part of Amazon, is seeking a Technical Lead - Testing Engineer to own the testing strategy for advanced robotic systems. You will lead a team of test engineers, design test benches, and develop automation to validate hardware reliability and performance across subsystems.

You will mentor engineers, drive process maturity, and translate test results into design improvements while collaborating with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems teams in a fast-moving hardware environment.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years hardware testing/validation; at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven design and commissioning of test benches for electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong Python scripting for automation, device control, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, load cells, encoders, thermocouples; calibration basics.
• Ability to translate test data into actionable design insights.
• Experience developing and reviewing test plans, cases, and qualification criteria.
• Hands-on workshop work and safe tool usage.

Aufgaben

• Define end-to-end test strategy for structural, mechatronic, and sensing subsystems.
• Establish testing standards, processes, and templates across the team.
• Make architectural decisions on test infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Design, commission, and operate test benches for mechatronics systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, LabVIEW) for tests.
• Process and analyze test data to extract meaningful metrics.
• Mentor and grow test engineers; collaborate with hardware and software teams.
• Represent testing in design reviews and provide data-driven feedback.
