Hexagon Robotics, a division of Hexagon, seeks a Software Application Architect to translate system and software architecture into robust implementations for industrial robots. You will lead the architecture definition and collaborate with implementation teams to ensure scalable interfaces and low coupling across subsystems.

Bring ~10 years of software engineering experience in industrial/embedded contexts, with deep knowledge of hard real-time systems, ROS, and robotics software stacks.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• ~10 years of software engineering experience, ideally in industrial/embedded apps.
• Expertise in hard real-time systems and robotics software stacks (ROS).

Aufgaben

• Own the translation of the defined software architecture into flexible components.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to convey architecture concepts into the implementation.
• Ensure clean, low-dependency implementations throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Build System, DevOps, industrialization and QA to gather requirements for flexible architecture.
• Keep track of interfaces between subsystems to ensure low coupling.
• Balance implementation complexity with defined timelines.
