Hexagon Robotics is seeking a Staff C++ Software Engineer to own architecture of vision systems for our humanoid robot AEON. You will design high-throughput pipelines, implement production-grade C++ and drive robustness across the perception stack.

Role includes mentoring, setting architecture direction, and collaborating across teams. Hybrid work model, relocation support, and extensive training opportunities are offered in a warm, international culture.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of C++/systems programming experience.
• Real-time perception or data pipelines experience.
• Proven track record productizing complex systems.
• Reliability-focused in real-world deployments.
• Hands-on with GStreamer or similar streaming frameworks.
• Experience with ROS2 or robotics middleware.
• Leadership: mentoring engineers and cross-team decisions.

Aufgaben

• Architect and implement high-throughput, low-latency vision pipelines in modern C++.
• Design and optimize pipelines with GStreamer and ROS2.
• Turn perception software into robust products deployed across fleets.
• Drive reliability and productization across the perception stack.
• Design stable interfaces between sensing, perception and downstream consumers.
• Move perception capabilities from prototypes to dependable deployments.
• Establish engineering practices with CI automation, observability and profiling.
