On is seeking a Robotics and PLC Engineer to lead development of cutting-edge footwear manufacturing machines. You will program and deploy industrial robots, develop PLC routines, and support scale-up from lab concepts to production.

You will bridge software engineering with mechanical design, implement robust workflows, and mentor the team while collaborating across disciplines in a dynamic innovation environment at the Zürich hub.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in industrial automation or a related innovation-focused environment.
• Proven expertise in programming and deploying industrial robots.
• Experience with ABB Robotics is highly valued.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Robot Programming & Integration: act as subject matter expert for industrial manipulators and integrate new hardware.
• PLC Innovation: leverage CODESYS and communication protocols; bridge PLC with high-level languages like Python.
• Digital Twin Facilitation: manage digital twin environments and calibrate systems.
• Kinematic Simulation: perform reachability studies to guide hardware design.
• Knowledge Leadership: mentor designers and operators within automated systems.
