Job summary

Amazon’s RIVR division seeks a Junior Electronics Engineer to lead the design, testing, and integration of custom electronics for robotic systems. You will develop power and digital electronics, help transition prototypes to mass production, and work closely with hardware, software, and embedded teams to ensure scalable, cost-effective solutions.

We value candidates with hands-on PCB design, firmware experience, and strong debugging skills, plus a track record of moving projects from prototyping

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry or research experience.
• Experience in PCB design and firmware development.
• Proficient in PCB design software Altium, Eagle, KiCad, and SPICE.
• Skilled in using electronics instrumentation for debugging.
• Knowledgeable in control systems and electronics components in robotics.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, and troubleshoot custom electronic prototypes, including PCB assemblies, wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, and power systems.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and embedded system engineers to integrate hardware with software.
• Perform rigorous testing and evaluations to verify the reliability, durability, and safety of robotic hardware.
• Create detailed documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and testing protocols.
• Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices to streamline knowledge sharing.
• Improve design standards and processes through active participation in design reviews.
