Job summary

RIVR, part of Amazon, is a robotics team pioneering Physical AI and real-world deployment. As a Junior Electronics Engineer, you will design, develop, and test our robots' custom electronics, focusing on power and digital electronics, firmware, and communication protocols.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and embedded systems teams to ensure hardware reliability and mass production readiness, with opportunities to transition from prototypes to MVPs and full production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry or research experience.
• Experience in PCB design and firmware development.
• Proficient with Altium, Eagle, KiCad, and SPICE simulation.
• Experience using electronics instrumentation for debugging (oscilloscope, power analyzer).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, and troubleshoot custom electronic prototypes.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and embedded engineers to integrate components.
• Test to verify reliability, durability, and safety of robotic hardware.
• Create detailed documentation and testing protocols.
• Maintain guidelines and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in design reviews to improve standards.
