ILC Dover, an Ingersoll Rand company, seeks a Technical Internal Sales Engineer to support competitive, compliant technical offers for containment and powder handling equipment in the pharmaceutical sector.

You will collaborate with sales, field application specialists, automation and project teams to tailor solutions that meet regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, EU) and customer requirements, while ensuring feasible and timely proposals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in technical sales, proposal engineering, or application engineering in pharma or life sciences.
• Knowledge of containment technologies and powder handling; understanding GMP and FDA.
• Ability to read P&IDs, drawings, and technical specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, French and German.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple proposals and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/CRM systems experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Analyze inquiries, specifications, and URS for containment systems and powder handling.
• Develop technical proposals for isolators, containment and transfer systems.
• Define technical solutions based on customer needs including containment performance and ergonomics.
• Prepare detailed quotations with scope of supply and GMP/compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, process and project teams to validate feasibility.
• Support sales during customer discussions, clarifications, and bid negotiations.
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies during proposals.
• Ensure proposals comply with GMP, FDA, EU guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, templates and knowledge databases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes and tools.
