Job summary

ILC Dover, part of Ingersoll Rand, is seeking an EHS Specialist to join the Rossens site. You will ensure compliance with Swiss occupational health and safety regulations, support a strong safety culture, and manage EHS risks and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead actions in EHS compliance & risk management, deliver safety training to contractors, visitors and temporary workers, coordinate emergency preparedness, and collaborate with Global EHS, site leadership and regulators to

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role within an industrial, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing EHS management systems and corrective action programs.
• Experience delivering safety training.
• Experience interacting with regulatory authorities and auditors.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss EHS legislation.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities.
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, corporate requirements and site procedures.
• Support development of a safe working environment and promote a strong safety culture.
• Act as focal point for EHS activities at the Rossens site and collaborate with Global EHS, site leadership, employees, contractors and visitors.
• Lead EHS compliance and risk management activities and drive timely corrective actions.
• Deliver safety induction training to contractors, visitors, and temporary workers; develop and maintain training programs.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and evacuation strategies; organize drills.
• Maintain safety layouts, evacuation maps, signage and waste management compliance.
• Coordinate incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions; support ISO 14001 activities.
• Review machine safety and ergonomic assessments; support business continuity and CAPEX projects.
