Jobgether is seeking a Python Developer based in Switzerland to build scalable payment-processing systems and APIs using FastAPI/Django. You will work across backend and frontend services, integrate PSPs, and leverage AI-assisted coding tools in a Kubernetes/cloud-native environment.

This fully remote role offers a collaborative team, CI/CD pipelines, and opportunities to improve reliability and performance while applying best practices and security standards.

Qualifications

• At least two years of commercial experience in Python development.
• Experience with AI-powered coding tools (Claude Code, Codex).
• Strong experience with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio, async/await).
• Good PostgreSQL knowledge: design, indexing, tuning.
• Experience with MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ or similar).
• Docker experience and Kubernetes deployment/operations.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend and frontend services using Python.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for payment processing and third-party integrations.
• Integrate external payment service providers and manage payment lifecycles.
• Ensure secure processing of payment data following security best practices.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments.
