Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer to join a partner company in Switzerland. You will manage and improve monitoring systems, leveraging time-series databases and networking knowledge to enhance visibility and reliability.

The role offers fully remote work with flexible hours, shift rotation including nights and weekends, and opportunities for professional development through training and certifications.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in infrastructure monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and InfluxDB.
• Strong networking knowledge (IPv4/IPv6).
• Experience configuring alerting and escalation procedures.
• Solid Linux/Windows and database basics.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve monitoring infrastructure using Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and InfluxDB.
• Design and optimize alerting and escalation processes.
• Document network environments and configurations before implementation.
• Review configurations and propose practical technical improvements.
• Share knowledge and help onboard new colleagues.
• Participate in rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Collaborate across teams to support broader objectives.
