Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Ansible/AWX) to strengthen automation and DevOps practices.

This fully remote role focuses on lifecycle automation, CI/CD improvements, and scripting in Bash and Python across Linux and Windows environments. The candidate will document configurations, design automation for internal and customer projects, and participate in rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and AWX for automation and lifecycle management.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation tasks.
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Ability to document environments and procedures clearly.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve infrastructure lifecycle automation using Ansible and AWX.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Independently manage defined automation tasks from planning to completion.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts for recurring tasks and efficiency.
• Document infrastructure environments, systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Design automation and network environments for internal and customer projects.
• Collaborate across Linux/Windows, databases, and networking environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve configurations, workflows, and standards.
• Train and onboard colleagues, share knowledge, and support team growth.
• Participate in rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Support colleagues with additional technical tasks as needed.
