Job summary

Red Commerce Schweiz GmbH is seeking an experienced API Integration Expert for a 2+ month engagement. The role focuses on governance, policy creation and API deployment safeguards, with emphasis on API-first design and scalable integration patterns.

You will collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team, define automation for governance reviews, and deliver trainings and workshops to promote reusable APIs across international projects. Remote work available.

Qualifications

Strong project experience with API integration and API management.
Background as API/integration Architect.
Experience in enterprise integration and architecture.
Knowledge of API-first design, REST/OpenAPI, OData and modern patterns.
Experience with integration platforms like Azure API Management, MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite.
Experience in setting up API policies and governance.
Knowledge of SAP integration and SaaS integration patterns.
Experience delivering API-first training and stakeholder management.
Experience in international projects for European businesses.

Responsibilities

Act as API integration Expert.
Define and support integration governance, reviews and compliance processes (incl. automation).
Create policies, governance and safeguard layers for API deployment.
Improve existing API and integration lifecycle processes.
Create API-first design guidelines, standards and best practices.
Improve API catalogue quality, documentation, metadata and reuse.
Create and deliver trainings and workshops.
Promote reusable, secure and scalable APIs with Community of Practice.
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team.
