Job summary

Xapply seeks a Freelance 2D UI Artist based in Switzerland to shape polished, engaging UI assets for upcoming games. You will craft icons, small props, and interface elements that read clearly at small sizes and align with a cohesive visual language.

You will collaborate with UX, game design, and UI teams, iterate on assets from sketches to engine integration, and contribute to Unreal Engine 5 UI implementation in a fully remote, international environment.

Qualifications

• Experience creating 2D UI assets for games
• Ability to design icons for small sizes and high readability
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 UI integration
• Strong sense of visual language, color, hierarchy and readability across interfaces
• Collaborative with UX, game design and UI teams

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D UI icons, small props and interface assets for games
• Maintain and enforce a cohesive visual language across UI elements
• Refine assets based on playtesting feedback and team input
