Zusammenfassung

Helvetia Schweiz seeks an experienced professional to lead as the center of competence for reinsurance treaty cessions across assigned business units and group protections. You will organize meetings with business units and partners, and set up and manage treaties with supporting systems and practices.

You will secure underwriting information, analyze data, and prepare material for lines of business, while developing relations with partners inside and outside Helvetia Group.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in economics or law is preferred.
• Experience in a similar role or as (Senior) Underwriter for reinsurance treaty business.
• Fluency in German and English; other languages are assets.

Aufgaben

• Overall responsibility and centre of competence for reinsurance treaty cessions in respect of the assigned business units and group protections.
• Organizes, prepares and takes part in meetings with business units and reinsurance partners (broker and reinsurer).
• Set up and manage reinsurance treaties, handle the reinsurance process with supporting systems and practices.
• Secure underwriting information (premiums, portfolio/risk profiles, claims, NatCat data in coordination with Risk Assessment team).
• Analyze and review the data and prepare the underwriting information for the applicable lines of business and programs.
• Develop and take care of relationships with business partners within and outside Helvetia Group.
• Negotiate treaty terms and conditions with assigned business units and third party reinsurers.
• Account Handler for dedicated reinsurance contracts including administration and controlling of premium and claims accounting.
