Qualifikationen

• University degree in economics or law or equivalent qualification in (re)insurance.
• Experience in a similar position or as (Senior) Underwriter for reinsurance treaty business.
• Fluent in German and English; other languages are an asset; able to present to internal/external audiences.

Aufgaben

• Overall responsibility and center of competence for reinsurance treaty cessions.
• Organizes, prepares and takes part in meetings with business units and reinsurance partners (broker and reinsurer).
• Set up and manage reinsurance treaties, handle the reinsurance process with supporting systems and practices.
• Secure underwriting information (premiums, portfolio/risk profiles, claims data in coordination with Risk Assessment).
• Analyze and review the data and prepare the underwriting information for the applicable lines of business and programs.
• Develop and take care of relationships with business partners within and outside Helvetia Group.
• Negotiate treaty terms and conditions with assigned business units and third party reinsurers.
• Account Handler for dedicated reinsurance contracts including administration and controlling of premium and claims accounting.
