Zusammenfassung

Helvetia Schweiz is seeking a senior Liability underwriter leader to shape group-wide underwriting standards and drive profitable growth across European units. You will establish governance, provide expert guidance on complex risks, and collaborate with Claims, Reinsurance, Risk Management, Legal, and other teams.

A key part of the role is recruiting and mentoring a new FTE within the Liability CoE and sharing knowledge across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive liability underwriting experience across product development, pricing, underwriting and portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Liability Insurance including General, Product, Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines.
• Experience in Upper Mid-Market and Corporate segments, ideally international or cross-border.

Aufgaben

• Shape and further develop group-wide Liability underwriting standards, policy wordings, clauses and best-practice approaches.
• Establish a consistent underwriting framework with governance, reporting and decision-making processes.
• Act as a key expert for complex Liability risks, guiding underwriting decisions beyond local authority levels.
• Drive profitable growth by contributing to local business cases, market strategies, portfolio analytics and pricing.
• Strengthen collaboration across the Group by connecting local units, Claims, Reinsurance, Risk Management and Legal.
• Recruit, onboard and lead one supporting FTE within the Liability CoE after its establishment.
• Build Liability expertise through internal knowledge sharing and tailored training initiatives.
• Represent Helvetia in national and international Liability insurance forums and groups.
