VAT Group AG in Zurich offers a R&D Internship in Corrosion Protection within our Corporate R&D team, focusing on corrosion protection strategies for sensors and products in advanced vacuum solutions for the semiconductor industry.

The role targets a current master’s student or recent master’s degree holder in materials science, chemistry, physics, or engineering, with potential travel to Haag, Switzerland. You will work in a cross-disciplinary environment fostering innovation.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a master’s program or recently completed in STEM fields.
• Strong communication and independent working ability.
• Experience with material characterization or semiconductor fabrication.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of protective measures to enhance material and sensor durability under extreme conditions.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of corrosion protection strategies.
• Conduct failure analysis and material testing to identify failure mechanisms.
• Design experiments for testing the durability of VAT’s products in plasma etching systems.
