Job summary

Accelleron Industries seeks a Development Engineer to strengthen its R&D team in thermofluid simulations and turbocharging system development. You will merge numerical analysis with lab data to validate models, support powertrain integration, and advance simulation tools while collaborating with partners across departments.

The role demands a Master’s in mechanical/energy/aerospace engineering, strong CFD experience, and proficiency in GT-Power/GT-SUITE, MATLAB, and Python.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and energy-conversion systems.
• Experience with numerical simulation, preferably CFD, thermofluid modelling, or engine and powertrain simulation.
• Interest in developing competence in 0D/1D system simulation tools such as GT-Power, GT-SUITE, or equivalent software.
• Experience with experimental work, test preparation, measurement-data analysis, or component validation.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulation-driven analysis, design, and optimization of turbocharging systems and components.
• Apply thermofluid simulation methods to investigate aerodynamic performance, internal flows, and gas exchange in components such as manifolds or coolers.
• Support development/validation of 0D/1D simulations using experimental data and testbeds.
• Analyze measurement data, assess data quality, and apply corrections for validation.
• Prepare concise technical reports and present results to stakeholders and partners.
• Collaborate with universities, suppliers, and external technology partners.
