Job summary

Plair is hiring a Product & Project Manager to join a newly created role where you will be the link between R&D in Perly, production in Annecy, and our sales and service teams. You will drive product development, industrialization and customer projects from kick-off to closure, and shape the product roadmap according to market needs.

You will also define ownership, set priorities, and ensure commitments are met with a collaborative spirit, aligning work with GMP and ISO 9001 requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leading cross-functional projects in regulated sectors (pharma/medical devices/food).
• Ability to create structure, governance and clear roles where none exist.
• Experience with quality standards and regulatory requirements (GMP/ISO 9001 is a plus).
• Comfortable engaging with engineers, scientists, production, sales and customers.
• Fluent in English and French; knowledge of cleanrooms or pharma equipment validation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to customer, including product development and industrialization.
• Coordinate transfer of new designs into production and manage customer requests/ escalations.
• Contribute to the product roadmap based on market needs and priorities.
• Establish clear ownership, priorities and documented work in line with GMP/ISO 9001.

Plair is hiring a Product & Project Manager: a newly created role

In pharmaceutical cleanrooms across more than ten countries, our instruments detect airborne microorganisms in real time. Our flagship instrument, the Rapid-C+, helps automate quality control in pharma, food, cosmetics and research.

Our products are designed in Perly, then manufactured and tested in Annecy. Every launch, every design change and every customer commitment involves several teams. As we grow, we are creating this role to bring these efforts together and to build the way we work as a company.

Your mission

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the link between everyone who brings our products to life:

• R&D in Perly, production in Annecy and our quality team
• our sales and customer service teams
• our customers, distribution partners and strategic partners

You will lead our projects from concept to customer:

• product development, industrialization and customer projects, from kick-off to closure
• transfer of new designs into production
• follow-up of customer requests and escalations until they are resolved
• contribution to the product roadmap, based on market needs

You will also shape how we organize ourselves: clear ownership for every task, agreed priorities, documented work in line with GMP and ISO 9001. You set priorities, make the call between teams and ensure commitments are met, always in a spirit of collaboration.

Your profile

• At least 5 years managing cross-functional projects in a highly regulated, standards-driven sector (e.g. pharma, medical devices, food, cosmetics or industrial manufacturing), ideally in a technical, engineering or life sciences environment
• Proven ability to build structure where little exists yet: processes, governance, clear roles and responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with quality standards and regulatory requirements (GMP and ISO 9001 a strong advantage)
• Comfortable engaging with engineers, scientists, production staff, sales teams and customers alike
• Fluent in English and French
• Ideally, experience with cleanrooms, pharmaceutical equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ, GAMP 5) or Odoo
