Job summary

Senn Chemicals AG in Switzerland is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support coordination and execution of client projects across development and manufacturing activities. You will gradually take on responsibilities and grow into an independent PM role within an SME environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensure GMP and quality requirements, and benefit from mentoring, professional development, and a collaborative team culture in a Zurich-area facility.

Qualifications

• University degree in chemistry or closely related field; a Master’s degree is sufficient.
• First professional experience in a project-related or operational role, ideally in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or CDMO environment (internships count) and in a GMP environment.
• Open-minded, curious, and genuinely interested in a broad and varied scope of work.
• Comfortable in an SME environment, where you don’t just focus on one narrow area but also look left and right and take ownership beyond your core tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and a structured, reliable, detail-oriented way of working.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); any additional European language is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate customer projects from initiation to completion, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Process RFPs and RFIs and prepare proposals and quotations together with Sales and Product Management
• Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and, increasingly, for clients
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, timelines, status reports, and meeting minutes
• Monitor project milestones, deadlines, and budgets, and flag deviations early
• Help ensure that projects are executed in line with GMP and quality requirements
