Job summary

Laboratory instruments is seeking an experienced project leader to direct complex cross-functional R&D programs spanning mechanical, electronic, and software engineering. The role covers the full product development lifecycle, including embedded software, with a focus on delivery through iterative cycles and strong stakeholder alignment.

Hybrid work, 40-hour week, and generous vacation are offered. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Higher degree in mechanical, electrical, software engineering or comparable field (MSc preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience as project leader or project manager in a high-tech environment.
• Proven experience in software product development including embedded systems or firmware.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, both waterfall and agile (Scrum, SAFe).
• Understanding of software practices such as backlog management, sprint planning and verification/validation.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; German is an advantage but not required.
