Job summary

Sika AG in Zürich invites applications for a Project Leader in our R&D department, focusing on Adhesive Systems. You will connect research, production, quality, marketing and application engineering to drive innovative products from concept to production.

You lead project teams, manage work packages, safeguard know-how transfer and coordinate with internal and external interfaces, while ensuring customer and stakeholder expectations are met.

Responsibilities

• Independent development of products, technologies and their manufacturing processes.
• Leading of project teams; defines and calls for work packages, ensures transfer of know-how and coordination.
• Contact and collaboration with internal and external interface functions.
• Manages the expectations of the customer and stakeholder.
• Technical support of the products and technologies internally and among customers.
• Knows and maintains state of the art technology (e.g. competitive products, specialized literature, congresses, patents).
• Planning and documentation according to the process guidelines, presentations and vindication of the results/projects internally and externally.
• Patenting of new technologies and initiating proceeding.
