Aufgaben

• Technical project management in planning and realization of small to mid-sized investment projects with direct impact on production/business results.
• Perform process engineering calculations and plant optimizations.
• Conduct feasibility studies of new plants or rebuilds including cost estimation, scheduling and functionality.
• Plan, realize and support production adjustments and product launches.
• Elaborate possible technical solutions and evaluate advantages and disadvantages.
• Procurement and organization of resources for timely execution of a project.

Jobbeschreibung

The project engineer develops concepts and advises “customers” on decision-making. He carries out the detail engineering, applies for the necessary funds and manages the execution of the work. He shows himself responsible for deadline, costs and functionality.

For medium-sized projects, he acts additionally as coordinator for internal and external supporting

Key Accountabilities and Duties

• Technical project management:
  • in planning and realization of small and middle-sized investment projects with direct impact on current production and/or business results
  • in process engineering calculations and plant optimizations
  • in feasibility studies of new plants and/or rebuilds of existing plants including cost estimation, scheduling and functionality
  • in the planning, realization and support of production adjustments and product launches
• Elaboration of possible technical solutions with evaluation of advantages and disadvantages.
• Procurement and organization of the necessary resources (internal or external) for the professional and timely execution of a project.

Experience

• 3 - 10 year of work experience in a GMP environment, projects ranging from CHF 10K - 200K.
• Studies at a technical college or at an university Preferred area of study: mechanical engineering, process technology, Bio- or chemical engineering
• Knowledge Application of knowledge from professional experience and completed training
• Application and incorporation of professional knowledge in daily work
• Very good communication skills
• Highly independent, structured and flexible working style
• Advanced written and spoken English and German
• Excellent leadership skills in a matrix organization
• Understanding of business and financial processes
