Zusammenfassung

GXP CONSULTING Switzerland is seeking a Process and Project Engineer to support planning, construction and start-up of chemical, pharma or biopharma plants for our clients in the Life Sciences sector.

You will lead study and detailed design phases, coordinate internal teams and external firms, ensure regulatory compliance, develop feasibility studies, and drive project execution through start-up and commissioning. Fluent in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in Process or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years in project engineering and planning/construction/start-up of chemical, pharma or biopharma plants.
• Strong knowledge of engineering documentation (URS, FS, TS, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts).
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with stakeholders.
• Independent working style in multi-disciplinary, complex environments.
• Knowledge of EPC/EPCM models is an asset.
• Fluent in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Lead study, detailed design, and execution phases of the projects.

We are looking for a Process and Project Engineer who will support our client's project during planning, construction and start-up of units and plants in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the study, detailed design, and execution phases of the projects.
• Coordinate internal teams and external engineering firms.
• Generating feasibility and conceptual studies, considering regulatory requirements and internal guidelines together with internal and external projects partners, and to develop these until their internal approval for execution.
• Your focus will be to support the project execution until its successful start-up.
• You will perform the required calculations, generate required documents and specifications, including plant design and execution of projects.
• Support of 3D coordination, resolution of collisions, adjustments, etc.
• Commissioning and acceptance testing of the systems and participation in integral tests with internal and external partners.

Education / Experience:

• BSc or MSc in Process or Chemical Engineering or similar
• 7+ years of work experience in project engineering and planning /construction/start-up of plants in Chemical, Pharma or Biopharma industry, CAPEX experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of engineering documentation (URS, FS, TS, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with different stakeholders
• Independent working style and able to work in a multi-discipline and complex environment.
• Knowledge of EPC/EPCM models is an asset.
• Fluent in German and English
