Job summary

Migros Gruppe is seeking a Data Scientist in Zürich to design, build and operate ML workflows behind our product data. You will work on the product catalog using Python on BigQuery and other GCP services, moving models from notebook to production.

You bring several years of data science experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Airflow or Dagster. A data-focused degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in data science or ML.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for large table operations.
• Experience with ML workflows and model deployment.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, ideally GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run ML workflows for the product catalog.
• Create evaluation sets and validation logic to preempt quality issues.
• Stay updated with emerging ML trends and tools.
• Improve tooling to speed up future workflows.
