Zusammenfassung

CERN is seeking a Procurement Professional in the Supplies (SU) section to join the PI group in Geneva. This full-time role focuses on ERP implementation support, Source to Contract processes, and procurement of software and IT services to support the organisation.

You will draft commercial documents, define strategies, source new suppliers, and negotiate terms while providing regular progress reports to management on procurement activities.

You will join the Procurement and Industrial Services Group (PI), the central unit responsible for procuring all supplies and services for the organisation. As a Procurement Professional in the Supplies (SU) section, you will participate in the new ERP implementation project and Source to Contract (S2C) project, as well as the procurement of software.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in the new ERP implementation Project.
• Participate in specific procurements for supply and IT contracts and license agreements, including conducting price inquiries and invitations to tender, negotiating terms, and placing orders and contracts.
• Provide regular reports to management on procurement progress.

Your profile:

You have experience in the following areas:

• Drafting of commercial documents for a supply/IT contract or a license agreement.
• Defining procurement strategies.
• Sourcing new suppliers.
• Communication and negotiation.
• Managing and following up commercial aspects of contracts, including critical examination and detailed analysis of commercial offers.
