Aston Carter supports a leading international life sciences organisation in Basel in its search for an experienced Procurement Manager. You will lead end-to-end procurement for major capital projects, collaborating with engineering, project management and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements include 5+ years in procurement, a CAPEX/engineering background, strong negotiation and fluent German and English, plus excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of procurement experience.
• Strong background in CAPEX, engineering, construction, manufacturing and/or automation procurement.
• Proven experience managing supplier negotiations and sourcing activities.
• Fluent German and English.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and commercially minded.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic project environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead RFQ and tender processes for engineering, construction and equipment packages.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and develop sourcing recommendations.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
• Draft and manage contracts and purchase orders.
• Partner with project teams on procurement planning and execution.
• Drive cost optimisation and value creation initiatives.
• Support supplier performance management and project close-out activities.
