RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead process optimization and operational excellence initiatives across suspended mineral and wet processing operations. Provide process engineering leadership for capital projects, including process design, flowsheet development, equipment specification, commissioning, and performance validation. Support scale-up and industrialization of new products, technologies, and manufacturing processes. Analyze operational performance using process data, advanced analytics, and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify sustainable improvement opportunities. Drive digitalization initiatives by implementing modern process monitoring, data analytics, and performance management tools. Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Product Development, and R&D teams worldwide. Develop and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and process documentation. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and plant teams. Contribute to sustainability initiatives through improved resource utilization, water management, energy efficiency, and process reliability.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Precipitation and mineralization processes
• Slurry preparation and handling systems
• Media stirred mills and wet grinding technologies
• Flotation, filtration, thickening, and dewatering

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Minerals Processing, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical processing, mineral processing, industrial manufacturing, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of wet processing operations and process scale-up.
• Experience supporting CAPEX projects and commissioning activities.
• Experience with advanced data analytics, digital process monitoring, process modelling, machine learning applications, simulation software, or advanced process control is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%).
