Principal RF IC Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal RF IC Design Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing MMIC for optical coherent applications. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of IC development, from concept to productisation, with a focus on SiGe and silicon-based ICs operating at frequencies above 30GHz.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of integrated circuits from initial concept through to productisation
• Architect, design schematics, layout, and perform hands-on laboratory characterization of high-frequency ICs
• Manage projects effectively, provide technical support to customers, and collaborate with test and application engineers

Technical Expertise and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with 6+ years of IC design experience
• Proven experience in designing 30+ Gbps TIA's and linear modulator drivers
• Deep understanding of SiGe bipolar IC design or RF CMOS, along with strong analog design fundamentals
• Demonstrated expertise in mmWave, RF, and analog integrated circuit design
• Proficiency in Cadence schematic design and layout tools
• Familiarity with E&M modeling tools such as EMX, ADS, HFSS, or Sonnet is a plus
• Ability to characterize products in a laboratory setting
• Experience supporting products through the entire development and release cycle
• Team leadership experience is advantageous
