Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a senior leader to direct a team of flight physics specialists focused on qualification of simulation models for training devices. • Master degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar with focus on flight physics and complex systems
• 10+ years of experience in flight simulation training device qualification frameworks
• Experience in people management, including lateral management roles
• Excellent English language skills (minimum C1) and willingness to travel internationally

Job description

This role leads a team of flight physics specialists developing and qualifying simulation models for flight simulation training devices.

Your tasks

• Plan and coordinate a group of flight physics specialists on simulation training device qualification
• Oversee design and production of simulation software including flight, atmospheric and autopilot models
• Ensure simulation models comply with qualification requirements and maintain the Qualification Test Guide
• Support budget and resource planning activities for the team
• Support project acquisition bids and development cost estimations
• Support after-sales technical activities such as query answering and technical investigations

What you bring

• Master degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar with focus on flight physics and complex systems
• Experience in people management, including lateral management roles
• Working experience with C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink and control loading systems
• Working knowledge of flight simulation training device qualification frameworks with at least 10 years experience
• Experience in systems engineering is an advantage
• Excellent English language skills (minimum C1 level) and willingness to travel internationally
