Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a skilled flight simulation software engineer to develop flight models, ground dynamics, and atmospheric models. You will ensure models meet regulatory levels and contribute to testing and data processing with aircraft engineering teams.

Perfect candidate holds a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering, shows strong C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink experience, and is willing to travel internationally to customer sites. On-site role in Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Master's in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with C++, Python and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with control loading systems and hardware/software-in-the-loop integration
• Minimum 4 years of experience in automatic flight control or control systems
• Knowledge of EASA, FAA and ICAO standards
• Fluent English (C1); German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally

Responsibilities

Your tasks

• Develop simulation software for flight models, ground dynamics, atmospheric and flight control models
• Ensure simulation models comply with applicable simulator levels and regulations (EASA, ICAO, FAA)
• Maintain the Qualification Test Guide (QTG)
• Process ground and flight test data in coordination with aircraft engineering teams
• Support system engineering tasks including technical specifications and requirements management
• Support system installation and testing at customer sites, including international travel
• Support after-sales technical activities such as query answering and technical investigations

What you bring
