Job summary

Posalux SA in Switzerland seeks a Metrology Specialist to ensure accurate measurement services for incoming inspections and production support. You will analyze results, generate reports, and drive improvements in metrology processes while collaborating across engineering, production, quality and sales teams.

The role involves operating advanced measurement systems (Werth, Keyence), maintaining equipment, and supporting new measurement technologies to align with product innovations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quality Engineering, Metrology, Microtechnology or related field.
• Experience in dimensional metrology in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, geometrical tolerancing and ISO GPS standards.
• Experience with measurement software and programming; WinWerth knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and reliable metrology services for incoming inspections, production support, customer applications and machine validation.
• Analyze measurement results, prepare technical reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Manage incoming inspection non-conformities with Supplier Quality.
• Maintain and calibrate/trace measurement equipment.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to metrology process improvements.
• Support selection and implementation of new measurement technologies and equipment.
• Ensure measurement capabilities evolve with product innovations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality and sales on technical challenges.
• Program and operate advanced measurement systems (Werth, Keyence).
• Contribute to validation and reliability of integrated measurement systems via capability studies and stats analyses.

Your activity

• Ensure accurate and reliable metrology services for incoming inspections, production support, customer applications and machine validation
• Analyze measurement results, prepare technical reports and provide valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage incoming inspection non-conformities in collaboration with Supplier Quality
• Maintain and improve the performance, calibration and traceability of measurement equipment
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to the continuous improvement of metrology processes and inspection methods
• Support the selection and implementation of new measurement technologies and equipment
• Ensure that Posalux measurement capabilities evolve in line with product innovations and future developments
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality and sales teams on technical challenges, development projects and customer requirements
• Program and operate advanced measurement systems, including Werth and Keyence equipment
• Contribute to the validation and reliability of integrated measurement systems through capability studies and statistical analyses

Your profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Quality Engineering, Metrology, Microtechnology or a related field
• Proven experience in dimensional metrology within an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings, geometrical tolerancing and ISO GPS standards
• Experience with measurement software and programming; WinWerth knowledge is a plus
• Good understanding of industrial statistics and measurement system analysis
• Comfortable working with ERP, CAD and Microsoft Office tools
• Structured, analytical and hands‑on approach combined with strong communication skills
• Fluent French and very good command of English
